Code of Ethics

This code of ethics defines the standards for ethical conduct of all members of Façade Engineering Association (FEA) as well as its staff.

Preamble

FEA is an independent organization which consists of legal entities and natural persons and performs its activity in accordance with the Bulgarian laws.

FEA is a voluntary, self-governing public organization and does not have political and religious character. It is an independent organization aiming to maintain complete transparency of its activity.

Rules of practice

FEA acts respecting the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, honesty, loyalty, democracy, unprejudiceness, commitment, political and religious neutrality, competency, liability and respect of human rights.

The relation between FEA members is based on the principles of mutual trust, respect, tolerance, ethics, loyalty and mutual assistance.

FEA members as well as its staff do not have the right to use their influence and position in the Association for their own benefit. Every act which may lead to derogation of FEA’s authority must be avoided.

Membership

FEA is an open structure and welcomes new members – legal entities or natural persons, who respect its Statute, Mission and Goals.

Relations with partners

FEA maintains ethical and loyal partner relations with other organizations from the non-profit and business sector, which respect FEA’s activity principles and help for achieving FEA’s strategic aims.

FEA actively collaborates with national governmental entities and institutions in order to achieve its strategic goals and to spread awareness about façade engineering as an important part of the investment process.

FEA actively collaborates also with Bulgarian, foreign and international trade associations related directly or indirectly to façade engineering; governmental and non-governmental organizations; educational, academic and scientific institutions and others for achieving its strategic goals.

FEA is actively promoting the international prestige of Republic of Bulgaria by collaboration with international organizations, specialized in the field of its activity.

Financing

FEA keeps its independency by accepting only unconditional donations and financing for its projects and activities which are under FEA’s absolute control.

Ethics commission

In case of dishonest or unethical practices, which are not in compliance with this Code of Ethics, FEA will establish Ethics commission for their resolution.
